Durwood E. Neal Jr., MD, FACS, is a 1981-graduate of The Joe R. and Teresa Lozano Long School of Medicine at UT Health San Antonio in San Antonio, TX. His postgraduate training includes his internship urology residency served at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio (1981-1987), as well as his research fellowship performed at Tulane University. Dr. Neal completed his undergraduate education, i.e., his Bachelor of Arts degree, at Texas Christian University in 1975. He attained board certification in urology with the American Board of Urology and attained the sought-after status of Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS). Furthermore, he has been honored as one of the 2018 Marquis Who’s Who Top Educators. The recipient of the Crimson Apple Teaching Award from the College of Medicine at the University of Oklahoma in 2013, Dr. Neal Jr. was honored with a fellowship from the RCEAS Emeritus Faculty at Lehigh University.
